Dormant Narratives is the BFA thesis exhibition for Brandon Secrest.  Brandon is an interdisciplinary artist living and working in Cleveland Ohio.  This body of work investigates the validity of physical structures in our environment, the cultural structures that support them and the related agency of humans in relationship to these interlocked systems.  Themes running through much of his work encompass investigations of fixed and transient viewpoints, various types of division and continuity, and the intersection of art and the utilitarian object.
